Slab Vase

Embark on a whimsical journey into the world of pottery with our slab vase workshop! Project:
To create a slab vase, start by rolling out a clay slab using a rolling pin and cutting it into the desired shape for the vase. Then, carefully assemble and shape the slab into a cylindrical form, ensuring proper sealing of edges, add designs to your vase, handles etc. then allow it to dry before firing in a kiln for a finished and functional ceramic vase.
Class Size & Time Frame
The minimum size for this class is 6. All materials are provided.
All Private events are given 3 hours. This workshop is 3 hours.
Fire & Glazing
Included in the cost of your class is your firing and glazing. Two weeks after your class date your piece(s) will be bisqued (fired for the first time) You will have four weeks after that date to glaze your piece(s). If you do not wish to or are unable to come during that time period you can choose to pay an additional fee to have an instructor wax and glaze your pieces for you. You can estimate that two weeks after glazing your finished piece(s) will be ready for pick up. You will have another four weeks to collect your work. After that time we will no longer be able to hold your product for you. We are unable to give reminders to glaze or collect your works. It is your responsibility to keep track of dates.

Cancellation Policy
Our class size is small and we take the time to prep each project. we are unable to offer refunds on workshops. If for any reason you are unable to attend, you can send someone in your place or receive a store credit.
