Cappuccino Cup and Saucer

Come create a cappuccino cup and saucer using the slab method. Prior to the workshop we will throw a plate on the wheel. During the workshop you will hand make your cappuccino cup. If time permits for an additional fee of $15 you can create a second set

Cost per person is $85- minimum of 6 people per class

Project

Each attendee will be given a saucer that has been thrown on the wheel and has been through bisque. During the workshop you will make the cup portion of the set. We will be using the slab method.

Class Size & Time Frame

The minimum size for this class is 6. All materials are provided.

All Private events are given 3 hours. This workshop requires the full 3 hours. Please arrive on time as you will need it.

Fire & Glazing

Included in the cost of your class is your firing and glazing. Two weeks after your class date your piece(s) will be bisqued (fired for the first time) You will have four weeks after that date to glaze your piece(s). Glazing times are on Fridays and Saturdays from 12:00-4:00. If you do not wish to or are unable to come during that time period you can choose to pay an additional fee to have an instructor wax and glaze your pieces for you. (You can access payment for this under our workshops page) You can estimate that two weeks after glazing your finished piece(s) will be ready for pick up. You will have another four weeks to collect your work. After that time we will no longer be able to hold your product for you. We are unable to give reminders to glaze or collect your works. It is your responsibility to keep track of dates.

Cancellation Policy

Our class size is small and we take the time to prep for each project. we are unable to offer refunds on workshops. If for any reason you are unable to attend, you can send someone in your place or receive a store credit.

During this workshop you will make a cappuccino mug with saucer. You will learn to build your mugs using a slab. You can then choose to underglaze your set with a fun pattern; Cass has created stencils you can you if you would like to make it easier or feel free to go on your own! You can also choose to keep it simple with a glaze once your piece has been through a bisque load.
