Instructor: Cass Miller
After graduating from the University of Alberta, Cass has since gone to become a professional working artist, a substitute teacher with the Edmonton Catholic School Board and co-owner of STUDIO YEG ART. She is an extremely passionate individual who believes that everyday is what you make it and everything you make in a day reflects the mood and emotion of that day. She loves inspiring others and hopes to get a chance to inspire your children!
Summer Art Camp
Learning about the Visual Arts should enable kids to:
Experience and develop curiosity, interest and enjoyment in their own creativity and that of others.
Explore and work through the process/ problem solving of visual art making
Acquire and develop skills needed for the creation of visual art
Create visual art work, in a variety of mediums
Communicate their thoughts and ideas through visual art
Reflect on, appreciate and evaluate their work and the work of others
Exposure to visual art forms across time, place and cultures; and perceive the significance of these art forms as an integral part of life
