70’s Theme Bachelorette Vase & Floral Workshop

Flowers for Days

Studio YEG ART had the pleasure of hosting a Bachelorette Party for a very special bride to be named Cassidy. We worked together with the bride and MOH to decide the best project to choose for their event, they wanted something simple that everyone could succeed at and that each attendee could take home that same day. We decided on thrown vases that were already glazed in the inside but left raw on the bottom so they could be painted on using acrylic paint.

Because the theme was 70’s inspired we created a lookbook of ideas the girls could view for inspiration, things like florals, zig zag patterns, checkers, etc. It was so fun to see everyone make the vases their own.

The girls arrived in a limo dressed to impress! They all had on their 70’s attire and brought with them some alcoholic bevies to drink while creating! A little paint and a little sip. Adding to their theme they decorated and wore these funky sunglasses.

Once they finished painting their vases, it was time to fill them with dried florals! They chose from a fun variety of colours and shapes. Each guest was able to take their vase home with them and have a great keepsake and memory of celebrating such a great person.
