After graduating from the University of Alberta, Cass has since gone to become a professional working artist, teacher and co-owner of STUDIO YEG ART. She is an extremely passionate individual who believes that everyday is what you make it and everything you make in a day reflects the mood and emotion of that day.

In her work, Cass focuses on the contrast and variety within her composition and enjoys experimenting with bright, vibrant colours to add excitement and playfulness to her works. Cass's painting style takes on two different approaches. She explores the qualities of paint, creating broad brush stokes, layering, dripping and creating textures as well as creates structural paintings, contrasted with playful line making to add an element of flimsy to her work.  With each painting Cass's style develops and evolves.

Connie Farrell was born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. Farrell works predominantly in oil and acrylic paints and printmaking. She completed a BFA through Grenfell College in 1997, followed by an Education Degree through MUN in 1998 and her Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Calgary in 2013. For the last 17 years she has made Alberta her home, working as a teacher, consultant and as a Vice-principal in Fort McMurray. Since moving to Edmonton in July she has been busy with painting and printmaking. Traditional themes of floral and fauna are made contemporary through her bold use of colours and expressive brush stokes. She has shown her work previously at Art in Motion and at The Art Foundry in Fort McMurray.

Joan Munro - Evidence Studio

Evidence Studio uses artifacts and vintage materials from the Edmonton area to enable customers to wear evidence of our shared history. Pine cones from walks through the city’s natural areas are placed in resin to create cross sections for earrings and necklaces. Vintage door kickplates transform into cuffs, earrings and cuff links, and old Alberta license plates become keychains, earrings and cuff links.

Erin Pankratz

In this series, each mosaic work is not a suspension of one moment in time, but the accumulation of moments within one piece, a map of ones anamneses- which are the recollections or remembrances of the past; reminiscences. One by one, layers of experience are added – none immune to disturbance – impressions are dug out, pushed in, reworked, excavated, buried, re-remembered; scratched out and overwritten, resulting in a palimpsest of memories.

Erin Pankratz is a Contemporary Visual Artist working in Mixed Media. Living and working in Edmonton, she is known for her mural at the EIA- "Everything Flows, Nothing Stands Still"- and her colourful contemporary style. She has traveled and shown internationally the last couple years. It was recently announced that she won an International public art call for the Valley Line LRT and she will be starting that major project soon. A mosaic bench wall she created with her colleague and friend Karen Klassen will be installed in Dermott Park in Edmonton this summer.

 Bronze Cast Faces $500 each

Bronze Cast Faces

$500 each

“I am fascinated by relief and portraiture – sculpting faces of the famous, the cherished and the unknown. My work is rooted in the belief that there is an important place for three-dimensional, tactile sculpture among the graphic art on every collector’s walls or shelf.”

Ellie Shuster began sculpting in 2000 and has studied with many of Edmonton area’s finest artists. Her company, Life's Echo, offers custom portraits as a living tribute or a treasured memorial for a funeral urn or glass-fronted niche. Shuster is the President of the Sculptors' Assocation of Alberta, and a member of the Alberta Craft Council, Harcourt House Artist Run Centre and the Professional Arts Coalition of Edmonton.
